i haven't written in SO SO SO long. my current job doesn't require me to write at all, and i feel like soon i will lose touch with the written word. since i've been eating out so much, i considered writing reviews on yelp.. but there's only so many ways I can describe food.

Black Friday Woes

I attempted to go black friday shopping this year.

I ended up getting:
1) Half used bottle of nail polish
2) Full-priced pair of leggings.

Not my thing.

this heart.. it keeps me accountable

ok honestly, i know i'm a bad driver. i'm not a bad driver in the sense that i'm slow & reckless. i'm a bad driver in the sense that i'm fast and reckless. my traffic record is NOT something i'm proud of. but with this new heart on my license plate, i feel i am much too much recognizable. and that recognizability...... will, hopefully, keep me accountable.

papa yoo got it for me as a surprise present (my previous license plate obviously went through a lot). he rarely gets me lavish gifts (and yes, a vanity plate IS a lavish gift that honestly has no practical value). hearts/vanity plates are not my style, but i love its. 

picking up the paycheck

I FINALLY had a weekday morning to myself, and I had this precious time planned out. I was going to pick up my check in Fullerton, open a new account with BOA, then head to work in Mission Viejo by 12:45pm.

But as I was walking out of Target in Fullerton, two young transients stopped me telling me they were hungry. I looked at them, and without skipping a beat, told them quickly: sorry, I'm in a hurry somewhere else. 

Yeah, the story didn't end there. But I'm always reminded of how inconsistent I can be. Today was a reminder to look UP from my busyness and errands. Look UP and around. Look UP and around. Look UP and around.
